About me
I am a wildlife and landscape photographer in New Zealand.
Born and raised in the Yorkshire Dales in the north of England. I’ve always had an interest in nature and cameras. I got my first proper ‘interchangeable lens’ camera in 2009 which was a Micro 4/3 Panasonic Lumix GH1 which I had for years before upgrading to a Canon SLR but now I have made the switch to Sony.
In 2011 I had the opportunity to move to New Zealand, 12 years later and I am still here! and now enjoying living on the Kāpiti Coast.
For my day job I work as a freelance graphic designer (check out my design portfolio here) with landscape and wildlife photography being one of my main passions and a great way of getting away from the desk.
